The first miles went well. Well that is, aside from the BMW that almost hit me on day 1. And the wild camping takes a bit getting used to. I felt a bit insecure at first. Happens.
Now, what does a day look like? 07:00 eyes open, birds whistling, make my morning coffee, small breakfast perhaps, pack my tent and start cycling at 08:00. Cycling for about 8 / 9 hours through hills, small mountains, forests accompanied by birds. This includes some breaks, then see if I can find a spot to sleep and at 21:00 the eyes close again.
That big picture of me on top was taken in the Vogeze forest in France. Beautiful area, could be in a Lord of the Rings scene. It was here when this animal started making crazy sounds at my tent. Got scared shitless for a while and then decided to keep calm and let it go. In fact, slept like a rose afterwards. I am now in Strassbourg and having my first resting day. Tomorrow heading for Germany to Tirol and the Alps :).
